SAHA MİHENK 2nd National Aviation Industry Workshop was held on February 25, 2025, at the Ankara Aerospace Industrial Zone (HAB), organized under the coordination of SAHA Istanbul and sponsored by ROKETSAN.

Our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih KACIR, and our President of Defense Industries, Prof. Dr. Haluk GÖRGÜN, honored us with their participation and delivered opening speeches alongside Mr. Murat İKİNCİ, Vice Chairman of the Board of SAHA Istanbul and General Manager of Roketsan.

ASARTECH was represented at the Workshop by our Chairman of the Board and General Manager, Dr. Burkay ALAN, who also serves as a Board Member of SAHA Istanbul.

The event brought together leading representatives of the Defense, Space, and Aviation sectors and focused on the significance of quality management systems, sustainability, and national certification processes in the aerospace and defense industries.

The Workshop particularly highlighted the critical role of quality management systems in the sector, especially the AS/EN 9100 series. Strategic topics such as integration into the international supply chain, localization of certification processes, and enhancing our national competitiveness in the global market were also discussed.

During the Interactive Evaluation Session, supplier companies and representatives of main contractors had the opportunity to engage in mutual evaluations focusing on quality system processes.
